Smith College's 2021 Translation Lecture Series

Smith College will host its annual translation lecture series, with a class at the college titled: “The Art of Translation: Poetics, Politics, Practice.” The course introduces students to the world of translation and interpretation by bringing together scholars, professional translators, and interpreters. The lectures cover a variety of topics regarding issues and trends in the fields of translation and interpretation. All the sessions are free and open to interested community members in the Pioneer Valley. The series is composed of 10 lectures, happening every Monday evening from 7:05-8:45 p.m., beginning February 22, 2021.
